Terms of Service

These terms govern the provision of tailoring and repair services by Extraordinaryhon.

Service Agreement

By engaging our services, you agree to these terms. We provide tailoring, alteration, and repair services for garments. The specific work to be performed will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins.

Consultation and Assessment

Before beginning work, we will assess the garment and discuss the work to be performed. We will explain our approach and any limitations or considerations. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide input.

For alterations, we may ask you to try on the garment so we can mark adjustments. This helps ensure that the work aligns with your expectations.

Work Performance

We will perform the agreed-upon work using appropriate techniques and materials. We work carefully and methodically, taking time to ensure quality. The pace of work may vary depending on the complexity of the project and our current workload.

We use threads and materials that are appropriate for each fabric type. When making repairs or alterations, we match existing materials when possible.

Payment

Payment terms will be discussed before work begins. Payment is typically due upon completion of the work and your approval of the result. We accept payment methods as agreed upon at the time of service.

Garment Condition

We work with garments as they are received. Some garments may have limitations due to fabric condition, construction, or other factors. We will discuss any concerns about the garment's condition and how they might affect the work.

While we work carefully, some fabrics or constructions may present challenges. We will communicate about any issues that arise during the work.

Completion and Approval

When work is completed, you will have the opportunity to review the result. You can try on altered garments to ensure they meet your expectations. If adjustments are needed, we will discuss them and make changes as appropriate.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the work performed. We work carefully and use appropriate techniques, but we cannot guarantee outcomes beyond our control, such as fabric behavior or pre-existing garment conditions.

Garment Ownership & Responsibility

You retain ownership of all garments brought to us for work. We take reasonable care of garments while they are in our possession, but we cannot be held responsible for damage that occurs due to factors beyond our control, such as pre-existing fabric weaknesses or damage that was not apparent at the time of assessment.

We recommend that valuable or irreplaceable garments be discussed with us before work begins, so we can assess any risks and discuss appropriate approaches.

Disputes & Resolution

If you have concerns about the work performed, please contact us to discuss the situation. We are committed to resolving any issues and will work with you to find an appropriate solution.

Most concerns can be addressed through communication and, if needed, adjustments to the work. We aim to ensure that you are satisfied with the results.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or for legal or regulatory reasons. The current version will be available on this page.

Continued use of our services after changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with any changes, you may discontinue using our services.
